Brody

Many of our Clients have come to know and love Brody, but few know his story. Brody is always around to welcome our clients and their pets. Brody came to us as an older kitten that had been found in the road by one of our clients. Dirty, sickly, blind and with obvious hearing impairments the initial thought of the client was to euthanize him. Dr. Shaffer & Brittany decided that he still could have a quality of life with the proper care so he became the Augusta Animal Hospital clinic cat. He has since started having seizures, but that doesn't seem to slow him down. Brody spends his days napping in the lobby, making friends with the clients and getting the love he was born to have.

BansheeBanshee is another one of Augusta Animal Hospital's Success stories and one of Brody's best friends. Banshee came to us with a wound on his back and a paralyzed hind end. With lots of TLC and laser therapy treatments and consults with BUSH Neurology he has learned to walk again and even runs through the clinic with Brody. Enjoying the life as a clinic cat.

Bentley

Bentley came to us with an interesting story. He was brought in for a visit then the person said they didn't want the cat and was going to throw him out of the car on the way home. He was such a beautiful and sweet kitten we couldn't let him leave. We thought he was the FIRST healthy kitten we took in. HAHA he wasn't with time we noticed he was having breathing problems and he was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia. So Dr Shaffer performed the surgery to correct it. We all prayed for him that he would make it through as this surgery is very difficult and sometimes they don't survive. Well he survived and is not tormenting the front desk.
